Travel Advice

It is important as part of your travel plans you explore whether you require travel vaccinations as soon as possible before you depart. This should be at least 8 to 12 weeks before your journey as vaccinations need time to take effect, and some may require a course over several weeks.

The nurses at the practice can provide you with travel health advice and vaccinations available on the NHS.

There are a several vaccines NOT available on the NHS, if you require one of these vaccines you will need to book an appointment at a private vaccination clinic:

  • Hepatitis B
  • Japanese Encephalitis
  • Meningitis Vaccines
  • Rabies
  • Tock-born Encephalitis
  • Tuberculosis (TB)
  • Yellow Fever
